Interwoven—Subjects Beyond Autonomy and Dissolution

“Interwoven” – Conference at the International Psychoanalytic University Berlin | September 25–27

I am grateful to have been part of these rich and vibrant days at IPU Berlin.

My presentation, “Puma Runa: Interwoven Subjectivity, Indigenous Epistemologies, and the Epistemological Potential of Eco-Art,” explored the question of how knowledge, perception, and subjectivity can be conceived beyond Western distinctions between nature and culture.
Drawing on the cosmology of the Quechua Runa and inspired by perspectives from New Materialism and Eco-Art, I have sought to trace the traces of epistemic disobedience—a mode of thought in which humanity, nature, and the unconscious can be understood as an interwoven tapestry.

A big thank you to the organizing team and everyone involved for the lively exchange and inspiring conversations!
