"During his 10-day residency at Zoöp De Ceuvel, Fabian explored the lichens growing around the site — using them as inspiration for a series of monotype prints where fungal patterns were transferred onto concrete surfaces.
Working with inks mixed with gasoline, echoing De Ceuvel’s own history of contamination — Fabian experimented with printing as a way of turning pollution into reflection. His process reveals the contradictions of the Anthropocene: where residues become archives and art becomes an act of listening to more-than-human life.
